CI on pull requests now owns the complete validation gate:

run the complete quality and behavior test suite
build the real linux/amd64 production image
smoke-test that built image against PostgreSQL

The release workflow no longer repeats quality/tests after merge; it only prepares and publishes the already-validated revision. The frontend behavior test synchronizes on React's completed update cycle instead of relying on a timing window.
